In November and December, the French police demand that students over the age of seventeen are no longer admitted to the school, henceforth excluding the possibility of hosting former servicemen likely to join London or the Resistance.
Polish organisations are ready to engage in clandestine activities. Stanisław Zabiełło, foreseeing arrests, designates Tytus Komarnicki as his successor.

The Germans and Italians invade the unoccupied zone.

9 December
Stanisław Zabiełło is arrested in Châtel-Guyon (Puy-de-Dôme). In 1944, he is sent to the Buchenwald camp, then to Mittelbau-Dora and Bergen-Belsen.
