The Polish authorities under the new regime want to make an event of the last end-of-school-year ceremony. They send their representatives - military attaché, Red Cross, National Council. Last "Polish Mass" at Villard church. Wreath-laying at the graves of the Vercors victims. Presentation of diplomas to the last nineteen recipients of the matura/baccalaureate.

The Cyprian Norwid Polish High School is closed.

Some of the students and teachers move to the new Polish high school in the Paris suburbs. Other students choose the Polish camp at La Courtine, in the Creuse, to finish their studies. Soon afterwards, they disperse.
