"There are realities that speak for themselves, that have no precedent and no sequel. And yet they leave a lasting imprint on the region where they took place. They leave a deep impression on those who experienced them. They forever embody essential values. The Cyprian Norwid Polish High School was one of these realities, etched forever in the history of Villard-de-Lans.

This exhibition was also presented in October 2010 in Lyon for the 175th anniversary of the Polish Catholic Mission in France, in May 2012 at the Polish School known as the Ecole des Batignoles, Rue Lamandé in Paris, and in October 2012 at the Maison de la Bretagne in Wałbrych, Poland.
